Jhpiego Medical Director speaks at World Health Day briefing

Jhpiego's Medical Director, Dr. Harshad Sanghvi, was one of three speakers
addressing congressional staff during a World Health Day briefing sponsored by the Global Health
Council: "Maternal and Child Health: The Big Picture."
Other speakers included Global Health Council President Dr. Nils Daulaire, Columbia University Professor
Dr. Ron Waldman, and LINKAGES Country Program Technical Manager Dr. Victoria Quinn.
This briefing highlighted inexpensive, easy to implement health interventions
that can save the lives of mothers and children.
