Dr. Kumar is a public health physician with two decades of experience in policy formulation, advocacy, planning and implementation for reproductive, maternal, newborn and child health; cervical cancer; and breast cancer. He has spent his career increasing access to and strengthening the quality of essential public health services in underserved regions. As Jhpiego’s Senior Director of New Initiatives and Innovations, he guides the identification, conceptualization, design and support for the development and implementation of transformative programmatic, policy, process and technology solutions and innovations.
