Anne Hyre is a certified nurse-midwife with more than 25 years of experience in innovative program design, strategic planning, management and research/evaluation related to quality improvement of maternal, newborn and reproductive health services. She has served as chief of party and country director, worked in 20 countries around the globe and lived in low- and middle-income countries for 15 years. As Project Director, ARC, Ms. Hyre applies her broad skill set to conceptualize, design, implement and study innovative service delivery models to improve maternal and newborn health services. The American College of Nurse-Midwives has honored Ms. Hyre with their “Kitty Ernst Award” for innovative and creative endeavors in midwifery and women’s health care.
