Pam Schutz is a seasoned financial services executive with a track record of effective strategies and improved performance across a variety of insurance, wealth management and commercial real estate companies with General Electric and Genworth Financial. As the retired CEO of retirement and protection for Genworth Financial, Schutz has 20 years of significant experience in leading acquisitions, divestitures, and strategically repositioning business units, product lines and distribution channels to address changing competitive, regulatory and market conditions; employing effective financial, risk, investment and capital management plans, and innovative product development, technology, operations, sales and talent management strategies; and communicating with regulators, rating agencies, sell-side analysts, investors, board members, and state and national policymakers.
Schutz currently serves as the board chair for the Bon Secours Richmond Health System, chair of the Audit and Compliance Committee for Delta Dental of Virginia, and treasurer and chair of the Finance Committee for the St. Paul’s School for Girls. In addition to her board work, Schutz tutors second-grade students in Richmond’s inner city.
Schutz holds a BA from Briarcliff College and an MS in business from American University.
