Patty Kerr is a prominent corporate communications strategist with decades of experience developing and leading effective external and internal communications programs.
Ms. Kerr is Co-Founder and Executive Advisor of SeeHer, the leading global movement to eliminate gender bias in advertising and media. Launched at the White House in June 2016, as part of the United State of Women, SeeHer’s mission is to increase the representation and accurate portrayal of women and girls in marketing, media and entertainment to reflect and transform culture. The movement represents an unprecedented coalition of marketers, agencies, media companies and industry influencers harnessing the collective power of the media ecosystem to drive change. SeeHer is working to ensure all women and girls see themselves as they truly are in their fullness, multiplicity and in all their potential.
Since its launch, the SeeHer movement has expanded to include initiatives focused on achieving gender equality in music (SeeHer Hear Her), sports (SeeHer in Sports) and health (SeeHer Health) industries.
Prior to launching SeeHer, Ms. Kerr held a number of executive leadership positions in the media industry. As Executive Vice President, Director of Corporate Communications at Interpublic Media, she was responsible for the communication strategies of IPG’s portfolio of media brands. Ms. Kerr also held executive positions at Initiative Media, ran the consumer practice for Weber Shandwick and served as Managing Director of its LA office.
When not working, she can most likely be found at her house in Vail Colorado, where she spends her down time with her husband and dog.
